Hello My Wonderful Followers!

If you have found yourself on this page, I bet you are wondering who I am, what I do, and why I started this blog. Well you, my friend, are in luck because that is exactly what I am going to share with you.

I am Margaret Stuart, fitness enthusiast, food lover, and extreme napper! I am a Senior at The University of Arizona, earning my Bachelors of Science in Public Health. I have a passion for helping people and I have a passion for the gym, so naturally I decided to blog about that. I hope that by following my blog and reading about my personal fitness journey I can inspire others to make good health decisions and help others learn to love the gym. In the future I hope that I can start a career in the fitness industry, or as a health educator. I love talking to people, public speaking, and sharing my passions with others, which is why I feel that those fields are perfect for me. In the long run I hope that I can design and sell my own workout plans and eventually own my own workout facility or freelance personal training business so that I can maximize the amount of people that I help.

I started this blog in September of 2016 as a Public Health internship. That summer I had proposed to one of the faculty at the College of Public Health to let me create a health and fitness blog as an independent study, however she told me that if I was able to find an expert in the field I could turn this into an internship and earn credit for it! So that is exactly what I did. I am very fortunate that I know a freelance health and fitness writer, and even more fortunate that she agreed to supervise this project for me. After my fall semester was over I decided to continue this wonderful little blog because it helped me rediscover my love for creative writing, and it also helped to keep me accountable.

I hope that through this blog I can reach a wide audience and broadcast my love for fitness to others. I hope that by sharing my own personal struggles, writing about new exercises, and sharing ways that you can get into fitness, I will help you become a better, and healthier you.
